• Match the size to the strap. Rings and sliders should match the width of the strap or elastic they hold. Not sure? Send us your design or a photo and we'll tell you which size to use.
• Pick the finish for your colors. Gold warms up earthy tones, terracotta, olive and animal prints. Silver and gunmetal sit well with black, navy and cool brights. Rose gold works with pinks and nudes. Go matte for a soft, minimal look, or gloss to catch the light.
• Decide what it's for. Sliders, hooks and clasps do a job: they adjust and close. Put them where the suit takes tension, like the back closure, shoulder straps and hip ties. Rings, metal tags and resin O-rings can be pure detail.
• Keep one finish across the collection. The same gold or gunmetal on every piece reads as a signature, and it keeps reorders simple.
• Go lighter for active pieces. For sporty styles, use fewer, flatter pieces. Resin O-rings weigh less than metal and give a softer look.
• See it on your sample. Hardware sits differently on every fabric and cut. On custom designs we build it into your pattern from the first sample, so you can check it before bulk.
