Scaling a swimwear brand isn’t just about selling more units. It’s about protecting your margins, improving efficiency, and building a production model that supports long-term growth.
As more of our clients move from the launch phase into consistent reorders and higher volumes, we’ve refined our pricing structure to better support that transition.
This update is not a temporary adjustment. It’s a structural improvement designed to create:
Clearer production tiers
Stronger cost progression as quantities increase
More value built into higher-volume orders
Better alignment between sampling and bulk production
The objective is simple: make scaling more predictable and commercially sustainable.
Why We Restructured Pricing
Many brands start with smaller runs to test product-market fit. As confidence grows, so do order quantities. However, without a clearly defined volume ladder, it can be difficult to forecast:
- How your cost per unit will shift
- When branding becomes more cost-effective
- How margins improve at different production levels
- What quantity makes sense for your next stage of growth
This new structure introduces a defined progression, particularly within Women’s Swim, so you can make informed decisions based on numbers, not guesswork.
Women’s Swim: A Defined Volume Ladder
Women’s Swim now follows a transparent tiered system that reflects commitment and rewards scale.
Base Tier
250–499 pcs
From $13*
Branding not included
This tier is designed for early-stage brands testing styles, validating demand, or launching a first collection. It keeps entry accessible while maintaining quality and production standards.
Growth Tier
500–999 pcs
From $12*
Branding included
This is where scaling begins to make financial sense.
From 500 pcs+, branding is included:
- Heat transfer label
- Hygiene liner
- Hang tag
Including branding at this level reduces your hidden per-unit costs and simplifies logistics. It also supports stronger brand presentation from the outset.
Scale Tier
1,000–2,999 pcs
From $10*
Branding included
At this stage, your cost efficiency significantly improves. Brands operating at this volume are typically:
- Reordering proven bestsellers
- Expanding into additional colorways
- Increasing stock depth for wholesale or retail growth
The pricing here reflects production efficiency at scale, allowing for stronger margins or more competitive retail positioning.
Expansion Tier
3,000+ pcs
Enquire
Branding included
For larger production runs, pricing becomes more customized based on:
- Fabric selection
- Construction complexity
- Order breakdown per style
- Logistics requirements
This tier is built for established brands entering aggressive growth or international expansion phases.
*Example pricing is based on a basic top and bottom set. Final pricing varies depending on fabric, trims, and construction details.
What This Means for Your Margins
A structured pricing ladder allows you to reverse-engineer your retail strategy.
For example:
- Moving from 400 pcs to 600 pcs may reduce your unit cost while adding included branding
- Increasing from 800 pcs to 1,200 pcs could significantly improve your gross margin
- Planning larger reorders may allow you to absorb marketing or freight costs more comfortably
When cost progression is clear, collection planning becomes more strategic.
Instead of asking, “What’s the minimum we can order?” you can ask, “What quantity makes the most financial sense?”
Updated Sample Structure: Aligning with Production
We’ve also refined our sample pricing to better reflect brands actively moving into consistent production.
Once your brand has produced a total of 500 pcs with us, all future samples are charged at 2× bulk price.
This applies to both:
- Ready Design samples
- Custom Design samples
Why this change?
Sampling is most effective when it supports production intent. This adjustment ensures that development remains focused on commercially viable pieces, while still supporting creative growth.
For scaling brands, this structure creates alignment between development investment and bulk output.
Additional Categories Refined
We’ve also adjusted pricing across:
- Men’s Swim
- Resort
- Activewear
- Kids & Plus
While the structured volume ladder currently applies to Women’s Swim only, these categories have been updated to better reflect production realities and long-term scaling value.
If you are expanding across categories, our team can walk you through how pricing differs and where efficiencies may exist.
Planning Your Next Production Run
If you’re mapping out your next collection, this updated structure may influence:
- How you split quantities across styles
- Whether to consolidate colorways
- When to increase depth on proven sellers
- How to project margins at different volume levels
Growth isn’t just about producing more. It’s about producing smarter.
Clear tiers create clearer decisions.
